After becoming a journey-woman and some ten years of working with potters in Denmark and then in the United States, I finally went out on my own. In 1988 I bought a second-hand potter’s wheel and kiln, rented a garage and then a horse barn, and finally moved into my current location in Historic Waitsfield Village, where I have made pots ever since. I specialize in functional, hand-thrown pottery and sell it directly from my shop, Waitsfield Pottery. In 2011 my pottery was named Best Pottery in Yankee Magazine’s annual Editors’ Choice issue.
